A test site for insulation materials
The Roof of the Future contains different insulation materials. BouwLab wanted to compare their insulation performance. The roof provides a test site for observing materials under conditions on location.
Sensors, connectivity and dashboards
We provided the sensors and connectivity using a combination of LoRa and NB-IoT. LoRa data travelled through The Things Network; we used 1NCE for cellular connectivity. Measurements were sent to Ubidots for dashboarding.
Assessing materials side by side
BouwLab could compare insulation types and combine the sensor measurements with other measurement data. This provided a combined view of how the materials performed at the test site.
